Maths: multiples of 10, related calculations, reasoning about multiplication, multiplying a 2-digit by a 1 digit number with no exchange.
Science- Fossils. Fossil formation.
This week’s learning:
We’ve had such a busy last week of term
The children finished presenting their Stonehenge homework to the class. I was so impressed with the great effort everyone went to and the children’s amazing presenting skills.
English- This week, we created acrostic and shape poems linked to Christmas. We explored adjectives and alliteration.
The children created some lovely Christmas cards. I hope you agree!
Science- In science this week we investigated fossils.
Computing- we finished our Scratch unit this week by continuing an animated story and creating a game.
We finished the week with a visit from Father Christmas and a Christmas film.
