It’s SATS week in Elder class.
In maths we are learning to recap our previous learning.
In English we are learning to write a diary entry, build suspense within a description, and rewrite a story.
In science we are learning to understand inherited characteristics.
Elder class have been amazing with their SATS this week. They have come in smiling at breakfast time and gone home smiling at the end of the day. They have been very mature about the tests and taken them in their stride. We are very proud of our Elders.
The PTA very kindly purchased leavers’ hoodies for the year 6 children. As they have worked so hard this year and completed their SATS this week, we thought they deserved a treat and we gave them their hoodies. They were delighted and look amazing!
A massive thank you to Bella’s mum and Paige’s sister for the delicious treats to celebrate the end of SATS. They were very well received!
Elder class enjoyed a Taskmaster afternoon to put their thinking and cooperation skills to the test.
