Maths:
This week we began looking at column multiplication, multiplying a 2 digit number by a 1 digit number. We were able to use our knowledge of previous column method learning to support us.
English:
This week we looked at our new text Arthur and The Golden Rope. We explored the themes of Norse Gods and vikings. We then listened to the story and focused on the illustrations. We ‘stepped’ into the illustrations and thought about what we could see, feel and hear. We then wrote a setting description based on this.
Geography:
We began our new topic of How to Live Sustainably. We looked at images that showed sustainability such as solar panels and wind turbines. We learnt that these have high level of sustainability and were renewable. We also looked at images with low level sustainability that we non renewable.
