Science
This week we investigated shadows. the children found out how their shadows move during the day by chalking around them on the playground. They then used torches to investigate how shadows are made and how you can change their shapes and sizes.
Shimpling Park Farm Trip
We had a lovely visit to the farm. The children learnt about different types of farms and then focussed on what arable farms are. They investigated the farm yard and made sketches. They found out what type of soil the farm has and had a tour of the farm. They finished the day with a trip to the orchard and had a scavenger hunt. A wonderful jam packed day in the sun!
