Polar Express Pyjama Morning!
On Tuesday morning, the Acorns discovered some snowy footprints in the classroom. It lead to a rather special delivery of a storybook and some mysterious bells. We took our discovery over to our friends in Oak Class. We read the storybook called ‘The Polar Express’ and then we heard some rather mysterious bells from down the hall. We collected our tickets and followed the ringing of the bells. We discovered in the hall was our very own Polar Express train. The conductors took our tickets and showed us our seats. After a little safety talk, we set off on our train journey, talking about what we can see, hear and smell. We finished our journey with a few special refreshments- hot chocolate and cookies for everyone! What a morning!
Visit from Father Christmas!
We had a surprise visitor on Monday morning……Father Christmas! It was a big surprise as he walked in during our Maths lesson and the Acorns were very excited! He asked us if we were excited for Christmas and he even knew that we had been doing a great job at learning our Phonics! He gave us each a little gift- Thank you Father Christmas!!
