I Spy Christmas Nativity Performance
For the past few weeks, we have been practising our Christmas Nativity performance called ‘I Spy Christmas’. This week we got to perform it- first to the whole school and then secondly to our families. We dressed up in our costumes, we sang, we danced and put on a dazzling performance of the Christmas Nativity story. Well done Acorns- you made us very proud!!!
Christingle
We have been learning about Christingle this week. We talked about the meaning of a Christingle and what each part represents. We then made our own Christingles- it was great practise for those fine motor skills! In the afternoon, we went on a trip to the Church for a special Christingle Service led by Reverend Lawson. One of the Acorns were lucky enough to have their Christingle lit!
Christmas Jumper & Decoration Morning
We had a rather exciting Friday morning- it was Christmas Jumper and Decoration morning. The Acorns were very excited to show Mrs M their Christmas jumpers- we had a chance to show them off to each other and then posed for a photo! We then went and joined our families to take part in Christmas decoration morning. We visited all the different classrooms and made a variety of Christmas decorations- we particularly enjoyed the glitter!!
