Acorn Class 7th – 11th December 2020

Snowball throwing!

We have been really working on our gross motor skills this term and today Mrs Marsden challenged us to see how good we are at throwing snowballs. We used the giant snowman to aim and throw the snowballs into the holes. We even used a bit of Maths to count how many points we got.

We had a zoom call with our school Governors this week as they wanted to ask the Acorns what they had been learning about in R.E. Well, the Acorns blew us away with all their knowledge. They were able to explain all about our Christian friends Tom and Tessa and then gave a very detailed account of the nativity story complete with actions! They all made Mrs Marsden so so proud!

Christmas Jumper and Decoration Day!

On Friday, we all wore Christmas Jumpers for our annual Christmas Jumper day! Acorn class rocked some pretty amazing Christmas jumpers- lots of lights, sparkles and even a musical one! We put on the Christmas music and got to work making some Christmas decorations. We made snowflakes, robins and sparkly Christmas trees. It was a glitter filled busy day!
