Maths

This week, the children have been using a range of practical resources to identify equal and unequal groups. By carefully grouping objects and comparing quantities, they have been developing their understanding of what makes groups the same or different. This hands-on approach has helped them explain their thinking clearly and build confidence in recognising equality in numbers.

DT

The children have been exploring a variety of different puppet types and learning about how they are made and used. They applied this knowledge in a match-up task, linking puppet types to their features, before designing and creating templates for their own finger puppets. This helped to reinforce their understanding and encouraged creativity through practical making.
