Next week's learning...

English: Developing sentences, planning new narratives.
Maths: Making a pound, finding the change.
Science: Plants introduction.
Phonics: -dge/-ge spelling rule.

Maths

Some fantastic work counting both pounds and pence this week. We thought carefully about how we would separate them and not count them as though they are the same value. Great identification of pounds and pence was used here and a consistent approach to strategies.

DT

This week we explored chassis and axles and their use when used within a vehicle. We thought about fixed and rolling axles before having a go at creating our own so we know which type we would like to use when we make our own vehicle.

Science

Some amazing hats were created in Science to test our waterproof theory! Really proud of the efforts shown all round. Thank you for your support with the hat making!

English

After describing Ron and thinking about his appearance and personality, we developed these into sentences. After editing and improving them, we used our work and created a poster to help make Ron some friends. We were so pleased with how hard the children came. Well done! Take a look at just a quick preview of some.

Computing

More cooperation skills used this week applying our prior knowledge to a new text.
