After half term's learning...

English: Descriptions, expanded noun phrases.
Maths: Adding ones, three one digit numbers, adding tens.
Science: Materials.
Phonics: Phase 5c mastery/revision and assessment.

Maths

We explored finding bonds using the rekenreks this week. We had to use the known facts for what was left showing to work out the missing bonds.

Art

The planets are painted! They are looking really creative now and full of the inspiration that the children showed in their plans. Last step is to add our outer ring and evaluate.

Music

Listen to this sneak preview of the children’s music learning. We’re growing more confident with our words and getting a lot better at playing in sync on the glockenspiels.

RE

We learnt about the Jewish celebration of Yom Kippur and the 10 days of repentance. After reading the story ‘David Gets Into Trouble’ we thought about the steps David would need to follow to show repentance.
