Art
This week we started to interpret our African prints. Before we carve ideas fully into our tiles, we explored clay. We were so impressed to see the different ranges of styles, techniques and patterns used.
Maths
Some amazing skills this week as we finalised our length and height unit. The children were very sure about starting and 0 and the importance of measuring objects as close to a whole number as possible. We did speak about millimetres which the children were fully fascinated by.
