Chinese New Year
We had a great time celebrating Chinese New Year/Lunar New Year on Wednesday. This year is the year of the Snake. We completed activities of food tasting, lantern making, Chinese writing as well as some lion masks and dancing.
Maths
I’ve have used some great thinking skills this week in maths. Some money sorting as well as identification of amounts mixed up by different coins. Super thinking and solving!
Geography
After watching a pretty great weather report, we had a go at practising being weather reporters ourselves, but paper based. We placed icons down by challenging our partner. We had to think carefully about the position of weather using compass directions.
