Health and Fitness Week 2022
Monday 27th June 2022
We had a great day on our first day of Health and Fitness week. We started the day with a Wake and Shake. We incorporated some of our famous dances from enrichment days this year as well as a few of my favourites!
Following this we moved on to making sandwiches in preparation for our picnic in the afternoon. This was followed by our daily challenge I’ve set the class for the week.
In the afternoon we had our picnic as well as some playground games as a class followed by the infamous water cup challenge!!

We’ve had another action packed day today! Our morning started with our class wake and shake followed by a tennis session delivered by David Hall. Ash received a tremendous compliment from him crediting their skill set and coordination and were given the next challenge up!
We also had a session delivered by the Theatre Royal following our performance. We focused on mime!
No afternoon would be complete without some smoothies. We had a choice of strawberry and banana or mango, pineapple and papaya. I also had some helpful helpers who supported with the making.

Our morning started with some orienteering and some group teamwork with year 3. We started by passing the hoop without breaking the chain, crossing the river with mats and then mountain rescue. We were so impressed with the range of different communication techniques.
We then spent some time with the parachute, practising skipping and our hula hoop technique.
