PE
This week we started our striking and fielding unit in PE and this commenced the game of rounders. I was SO impressed with the effort, motivation and determination showed by each and every child. The success was huge! Great skills shown.

This week we practised some of our sewing skills in preparation for our puppet making!
English
This week we explored colourful semantics in our English writing to Southport develop our content and general coherence. We based these around some silly sentences to rehearse the strategy.
Computing
This week, we introduced the children to algorithms and debugging. We started off by learning about computational thinking and they way computers learn through errors that have been made and then fixed (debugging). We shared ideas about how computers store information and have a memory from previous events. Using the program Quick, Draw! we tested computers thinking by trying to draw a picture to see what the computers would learn from memory of what’s happened in the past.
