We reached the end of our dance unit today and the children were really pleased with their outcome. Over the past few weeks we have broken the dance down into stages thinking about the sequence as well as working collaboratively together to create a routine for our season. The way they put it together today was a testament to their hard work. Well done, Ash.

I am proud as punch at the children in Key Stage 1. They have done such an amazing job with their Christmas play. The focus, detail and engagement they have shown has been breath-taking and I couldn’t be more happier that their show went so well. They fully deserved this success – thank you so much for all of your support.
Polar Express - English
The magic has been electric in our English this week. It all started when the word “Belief” was sent in a special parcel to our school alongside some bells. We associated this work and were informed that “belief” would be a key theme of our learning. We spoke about the connections to the Polar Express. We then created a range of “Merry Mottos” that we could put into crackers, many of which were beautifully created. The following day had us enter the train for hot chocolate before writing recounts as a mixture of Years 2 and 3.
