Seed to Tree
We had a great morning on our Seed to Tree session. We tidied, weeded and mulched our plants so that they could continue to grow strong and healthy.
English
To finalise our Toy Story unit, we read our work to the Year 1 class to see if they were able to identify our character. This gave a great chance for self-editing skills and to show if their writing read as it should.
We also started our new topic of Jim and the Beanstalk. One of our tasks was to substitute the consonants in Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum and see whether we could create our own rhymes. We did need to work together, though, to sequence the Giant’s original quote.

The athletics season has begun! Sports’ Day practising this year helped us to develop more of our skills.
