Elder class 14th to 18th December

Our Christmas message to everyone at All Saints’: we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.

Elder class enjoyed making Christingles and watching the service from Ely Cathedral. We lit out Christingle candles, which was beautiful. We wrote some Christingle acrostic poems too.

Some of Elder class wanted to present their global warming speeches to the rest of the class. They did an amazing job and used some very persuasive techniques.

Elder class had a great time at the pantomime! Oh no they didn’t! (Sorry, couldn’t resist). There was audience participation, jokes, rude noises and lots of laughs.

KS2 enjoyed bingo via Zoom. A massive thank you to Miss Brill for hosting us all. There were lots of winners in Elder class.

Year 6 enjoyed eating their Christmas dinner in the classroom this year. We had crackers, Christmas music and lots of smiles. Thank you to Mrs Copping and her team for the lunch.

It was the final forest school session for year 6. They had a fire again and this time melted metal, made their own moulds and made objects ranging from a thumb to a Lego brick! The hammock swing was ever-popular as were the clay making activities. The class have really enjoyed their sessions and shown great teamwork and co-operation throughout the weeks.
