The race will see teams competing from Suffolk, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, and Lincolnshire over a 2km course.

The selection process started back in October last year where Sophie won her heat of 50 competitors from North and West Suffolk at the Royal Hospital School in Ipswich. A Suffolk fourth place at Ipswich School and a Suffolk third at Woodbridge School were to follow leading to her selection to the Suffolk team.

Well done, Sophie!
