Elder Class 20th September to 23rd September 2022

In maths this week we are learning to understand and use factors and multiples, prime numbers and square and cubed numbers.

In English this week we are learning to write and edit a monologue, write a review of a story using a motif.

In science this week we are learning about reflection.

Our big question for this week is why does God not always seem to answer our prayers.

In English the class wrote monologues in role as Friar Lawrence apologising for their actions and suggesting what they could have done differently.

Elder and Willow classes joined together to enjoy a morning learning about reducing, reusing and recycling. They listened to a story about reusing some shoes and then did some art reusing old magazine paper. They looked fabulous!

Elder class wrote reviews of Romeo and Juliet using a motif of either love or hate. They did a great job and wrote some very persuasive reviews.

Having learned about the rules of divisibility, Elder class made posters to demonstrate their knowledge.
