Our learning this week:
In maths this week we are solving two-step equations; find pairs of values to satisfy an equation; solve problems with two unknowns; understand place value within 1; round numbers to the nearest integer.
In English this week we are writing formal letters, character descriptions, formal reports.
In science we are learning to plan a science investigation.
Our Big Question this week is ‘would you rather be rich or famous?’
Elder class are into their third week of playing the recorders. They have learned three notes: A, B and G. IMG_6762
Elder class wrote formal reports based on our WW2 text. They wrote government letters to persuade parents to let their children be evacuated.
In Elder Class the children are algebra masters!
