Elder Class 23rd to 26th May 2022

In Maths this week we are learning to use our skills to solve real-life problems relating to holidays.

In English this week we are using imagery in our writing to create a vivid picture in our readers’ heads. We are also looking at the use of dual perspective and micro-expressions.

Elder class made scones ready for our Jubilee picnic on Wednesday. Lots of co-operation evident – well done!

Elder class enjoyed their ‘street party’ with the rest of the school in celebration of the Queen’s platinum jubilee.

The whole school joined in with a special platinum jubilee song.

Elder class completed some artwork inspired by the jubilee. It looks fantastic and really showcases the creativity of the children.

In science, Elder class planned and conducted an investigation to answer the question, does the length of the wires affect the brightness of the bulb in a circuit. There was some great co-operation evident.
