Elder class joined KS2 to watch a Doorstep Theatre production which included acrobatics and dance.
Our learning this week:
In maths we are learning to find amounts when we know a fraction of the amount; recap area and perimeter of rectilinear shapes; add, subtract, multiply and divide negative numbers.
In English we are learning to write a well-punctuated dialogue using the speech to move the action forward/describe character; use hyphens correctly; write a poem using metaphors.
In science we are learning about Mary Anning.
In English we are looking at the play Macbeth. The class recited the witches’ spell and then wrote their own.
Elder class enjoyed our whole school ocean enrichment day.
