Our learning this week:
In maths we are learning to multiply and divide decimals including solving problems.
In English we are learning to understand the features of an explanation text.
In English, Elders have been practising writing sentences using causal words and phrases and semi-colons to link statement:explanation sentences. Next week we are going to be using these skills to write an explanation text about animal adaptations.
Elders have mastered decimals and are now moving on to percentages.
