Our learning this week:

In maths this week we are learning to translate shapes on a coordinate grid; reflect shapes on a coordinate grid, recap converting measures, recap using formulae.

In English this week we are learning to write a diary entry and writing a prequel to a story based on Titanium.

In science this week we are learning to observe and explain the effects of differing the voltage in a circuit.

Elder class had another fantastic afternoon doing their Forest Schools session. The sun shone, marshmallows were toasted and consumed, mud was liberally applied to (some) faces and a good time was had by all! It was wonderful to see the class having such a good time outdoors.

Elder Class listened to Chocolate Cake by Michael Rosen (which they loved) and wrote narratives based on it.
