In maths this week we are finding missing angles in triangles, quadrilaterals and polygons.
In English this week we are writing a letter in role based on The day the Crayons Quit and writing first and third person narratives based on Chocolate Cake by Michael Rosen.
In science this week we are looking at how adaptation can be influenced by humans.
Unfortunately Elder class couldn’t attend the performance of the Tiny Plays at the Theatre Royal due to a problem with the coach. However, the winning playwrights from Elder Class, whose play was performed on the day, were Katherine and Arthur. They wrote a musical and their lyrics were set to music by the musical director at the Theatre Royal. You can listen to their songs above. We were all incredibly impressed with their songwriting!
Here are some photos of Katherine and Arthur’s Tiny Play – King Jeff.

Elder class have prepared projects about areas of outstanding natural beauty or areas which have undergone regeneration projects. It was lovely to see the children presenting their projects to the rest of the class and sharing their newfound knowledge. We even had a human Stone Henge!
