Our learning this week:

In maths we are learning to solve puzzles and problems involving all four operations; add/subtract mixed numbers.

In English we are learning to write an informal speech.

Our BIg Question this week is ‘What makes the perfect friendship’?

Elder class took part in Papua New Guinea day on Tuesday. They had a talk from Nigel, Rich, Elizabeth and Hannah about the country and then looked at some interesting artefacts. Later on, Elders wrote Haiku poems inspired by the rainforests and then designed posters promoting Golden Wood.

Elder class enjoyed the great outdoors with a treasure hunt involving subtracting mixed numbers. There was fantastic co-operation on show and stickability too.
