Elder class have been learning about the Vikings. They researched Viking life and then designed and wrote a double-paged spread as a non-chronological report.
In our forest school session this week, Elder class made carrot whistles, toasted marshmallows, played in the hammock and cooked sausages over the camp fire.
Elder class wrote persuasive speeches to encourage the rest of the school to join them in their battle against global warming. They used some fantastic vocabulary and highly persuasive techniques.
Elder class enjoyed decorating their Christmas cakes for decoration morning. They showed amazing creativity. A hot chocolate finished the morning off nicely!
Elders did a great job sorting the Christmas cards for the whole school. They have been delivered to each class now and will be sent home next week!
