Our learning this week:
In maths we are learning to draw pie charts; calculate the mean and revisit our learning on statistics.
In English this week are are learning to use figurative language to describe a setting; write a dialogue using accurate speech punctuation and use show not tell to describe a character.
Some of the children in year 6 had the opportunity to try their hand at skateboarding. They had a great time!
Elder class had a great time at the Brain Smart Transition Workshop. They discussed how they are feeling about their move to secondary school and played some great games. They learnt about the Brain Smart Toolkit and how it can support them when they are feeling worried.
