Maths: Place Value – We will be looking at comparing and ordering numbers

Science: Living things and their habitats – invertebrates

English:

In English we looked deeper into the different characters in Aesop’s Fables. this exploration has led us onto planning and finally writing our own versions of traditional Fables.

Maths:

In maths we have continued to look at place value in particular rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000. We also looked at placing numbers on a place value chart

This week the children continued with exploring the topic of Christianity.

Computing:

In computing we continued with our online safety topic. We looked at buying things online and how we can do this safely.

Music:

In music the children had their first guitar lesson! They looked at following rhythm by clapping and how to hold a guitar correctly!

History:

In history we explored what life was like before the Romans conquered Britain, looking at the Iron Age and in particular, the Celts. We then made roundhouses out of paper!
