Maths:

We began by recapping flexible partitioning using base 10 to support our learning. We then moved on to number lines up to 10,000. We also had rouse our estimation skills for these lessons.

English:

This week, we have been looking at extending our sentences using conjunctions. We have been looking at coordinating conjunctions (and, but, or) and subordinating conjunctions (because, before, when). We made created clauses and selecting a conjunction, putting them together like puzzle pieces. We then planned our own retelling of The Hare and the Tortoise. We then wrote these independently at the end of the week.
