English:
This week we have been exploring the language and structure of a monster hunter guide. We then thought about our writer’s knowledge and identified this in the example text.
Maths:
We have been exploring length and perimeter this week. We began by counting the outside of a shape. We then used our addition skills to work out more advanced questions. We progressed our learning by looking at missing lengths and using our adding and subtracting skills.
Science:
We conducted a sound experiment. We used different materials to see which would make the best insulator. We found cotton wool was the best.
