Maths:
This week we continued exploring fractions, counting beyond 1 whole. We also looked at mixed numbers and partitioning them. Using number lines to count in fractions also supported our learning.
English:
We began our new text this week. We explored the stories theme of freedom. We thought about how birds can be seen as free, bringing us to the saying of ‘free as a bird’. We wrote some poems about what freedom means to us.
World Book Day:
This week we celebrated World Book Day. It was great to see the children dressed up!
