Science:
This week we have been looking at evaporation. We conducted and experiment where we had water in 3 Petri dishes. We had one placed in the classroom, one on a radiator and one in the fridge. We were investigating the rate of evaporation and wanted to see which location would cause the water to disappear quickest. We found our predictions were correct. The water on the radiator evaporated the quickest. We then had a go at creating some snow flake art with salt water. As the water evaporates, it reveals a salty snowflake.
English:
This week we looked at Edgar the Excitable Dragon – a Christmas advert. We planned writing a diary entry about the events that appear in the video. We looked at the features, including using informal language.
PE:
We continued looking at the Twist. This week, we added some of our own dance moves.
