English:
This week we thought about writing in verse. We wanted to use senses to help describe the smell and feel of something. We listened to the sound of a creaking door to find synonyms for creaked. We felt soggy cardboard to find synonyms for damp and poured water to find synonyms for flowing.
Maths:
We started our new topic on time this week. We began by recapping our knowledge on half turn and full turns. We then looked at quarter turns and three quarter turns. We started using the vocabulary of anti-clockwise and clockwise to describe the turns further. To fully understand how the turns looked, we used lollipops to help us visualise!.
