Music:
This week we oraciticed one of our songs for the music festival. We looked at the song WCET Fiesta. We also clapped to the beat of Believer by The Monkeys. Another song we are learning.
Maths:
This week we have been focusing on ordering and comparing decimals. We used place value charts to support our learning as we used the columns to determine whether the number was greater than or less than.
English:
Our focus this week was writing a short story opener. We had an illustration based on the fairytale Hansel and Gretel as our source of creativity. We focused on using fronted adverbials, dialogue, expanded noun phrases and commas in a list. All areas of our year 4 learning.
Science:
We began our new topic focusing habitats. We went out into the playground too look at the habitats. We made a list of the different living things we could spot.
