Maths:
This week we have been looking at area. We began by practicing by counting squares. Then we used our knowledge of arrays as a more efficient method. We practiced making different shapes and calculated the area.
English:
This week we used a soundscape to support our ideas for writing a setting description. We ‘stepped’ into the illustrations writing what we could see, feel and hear.
PE:
Our new topic is dance. We learnt some steps to a dance inspired by being a spy.
Half term projects:
Well done to all the children who did and presented their half term projects. They were all amazing!
