Big Question: Why are memories so important?

Recycling Week

This week the whole school took part in recycling week. We all looked at two books as our stimulus and discussed recycling and why it is so important. As Lks2 we then created our recycled autumn wreaths. Year 3 had a pairing with a year 4 and they worked together showing such fantastic cooperation.

R.E

In our R.E learning this term we have been learning about Christianity and how Christians view Jesus as their saviour. This week we focused on Zacchaeus and the biblical story of how Jesus saved him. We looked at Zacchaeus’ sins before Jesus saved him and created a collage outlining them.

English

We came to the end of our English unit – The Last Garden today. The class had been planning their own narrative based on the story and created their big write. I was blown away with the fantastic vocabulary choices that the children had made and the descriptions they included. Well done Limeys!
