During a PE lesson this week we continued looking at our stimulus of machines. This week we focused on creating choreography of a machine breaking down or malfunctioning. The children really impressed me with their creativity and teamwork for the sixteen counts that they produced.

Science

R.E

In RE this week we looked at the story of Bilal and how he became the first Muezzin to call the Adhan. The children were extremely interested in the story and couldn’t believe that Bilal was treated the way he was. We created freeze frames for the main events in the story.

English

In our English lessons we have been focusing on different types of shape poems. We started the week exploring and creating our own calligrams. We then looked at shape poems and created our own linked to The Stone Age.
