English: non-chronological reports- earthquakes. The features of NCRs and planning and writing our own.
Spelling focus- Homophones.
Maths: Length and perimeter: measuring in metres and centimetres and millimetres, equivalent lengths, compare lengths.
Science: soil- Investigating soils- planning an experiment.
Computing- We started our emailing unit and looked at how communication has changed over time and then learnt about what an email is.
PE during our yoga session the children investigated poses which help flexibility.
Chinese New Year enrichment day- KS2 spent Wednesday morning learning about Chinese New Year in mixed age groups. The sampled Chinese food, learnt about Chinese writing, investigated the year of the snake and made a paper drum.
Forest Schools- Lime Class had a wonderful, muddy first Forest Schools session.
