Next week’s learning:
English- continue writing and editing our captain’s daily log.
Maths- addition and subtraction- subtract two numbers (no exchange), add two numbers across a 10 and a 100, subtract two numbers across a 10 and then a 100.
Spelling- doubling consonants in one syllable words when adding vowel suffixes cont. and then contracted words.
Science- Nutrition and diet- understanding the five food groups.
This week's learning-
Music- the children continued with their ukulele lessons with Mr Daniels.
DT- The children spent a morning this week creating and then evaluating their pneumatic moving monsters. The whole class demonstrated great ‘creativity’, ‘stickability’, ‘independence’ and ‘cooperation’. They were very proud of their creations and I was very proud of the children.
Computing- This week, the children were re-mixing an animation. They had great fun changing what the sprites in the animation were doing.
