Oak class 26th – 30th April 2021

Next week we will be ………

English – Thinking of our own plans to stop the seagulls eating Mr Grinling’s lunch and then writing our own versions of the story.

Maths – Using ‘arrays’ to help learn mulitiplication.

Science – Thinking about animal diets – Carnivore, Herbivore and Omnivore.

Phonics – Alternative sounds for a grapheme.

This week we have been…..

……. Describing the setting for the ‘Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’ stories using adjectives. We wrote postcards imagining we had been to stay with Mr Grinling.

…..Today we had a brilliant time celebtrating the number 100 in honor of Captain Tom. We made 100 in different ways and we ran 100 lengths of the field between us, it was great fun!

It also helped us to think about ‘lots of’, which we have been working on in maths this week.

Logan is the only member of Oak class to have a shoot on his Sunflower so far. We are keeping a close eye!

Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend!
