Willow 11th -16th June 2023

This week in Willow Class we will be:

English: In English this week we will be starting a one-week unit on writing persuasive leaflets for West Stow.

Maths: This week we will be finishing our unit on negative numbers and moving on to converting units of measure. The first two lessons will be on, kilograms, kilometres, millilitres and millimetres.  

Science – This week our last science lesson of Humans and other animals will be on life expectancy.

In English on Thursday Willow class explored the feelings of Hercules through drama – lots of fighting the Hydra and joining Zeus on Olympus!

The sculptures based on Gia Cometti are almost complete – just to paint them with a bronzed finish! They look amazing. 

We had the most super trip to West Stow. They thoroughly enjoyed immersing themselves in the history, artefacts and Anglo-Saxon way of life. Well done Willows!
