This week in Willow Class we will be:

Maths: This is our last week on place value. We will be looking at: rounding to the nearest, 10, 100 and 1,000 and rounding within 100,000 and 1,000,000.

Science – Our topic this half term is Earth and Space. This week we will be continuing to look at Geocentric and Heliocentric models.

Big Question – this week the big question is: Why doesn’t God always answer people’s prayers?

Have a look below to see what we’ve been up to this week:

In English Willow were creating soundscapes of Mesopotamia and the city.

In maths we were looking at Gattegno charts.

In art this week Willow continued their work on Chris Ofilli, adding acetate overlays to their abstract pieces from last week. They used lines and dots of paint, applied with cotton buds.
