Willow 26th – 30th September

This week in Willow Class we
will be:

English: We will be starting our new topic of Biographies this week. Focusing on the book Fantastically
great women who changed the world.

Maths: This week we will be finishing our topic on addition and subtraction looking at: inverse,
multistep problems, comparing calculations and finding missing numbers. We will
then be moving on to multiplication and division. Starting with multiples.    

Science – Our topic this half term is Earth and Space. This week we will be looking at night and day.    

Big Question – this week the big question is: What do you love most about YOU?

On Friday Willow class planned and held a debate based on the book The Island. The proposition put to the house was that The man should be isolated from all on the island. 

As a class they were respectful and questioned each other’s views really well.
