Willow 8th-12th March 2021

Willow Class have had a fantastic first week back. They have settled back into the school routines really well. It is lovely to see them working in the classroom and enthusiastically playing with their friends.

Our learning this week (w/c  15.03.21:

English: In English this week we are continuing with our topic on The Wreck of the Zanzibar by Michael Morpurgo. Our focus will be setting descriptions moving on to diaries.

Maths: In maths Willow Class will be starting their new topic on decimals and percentages.

Science: Our Science topic for this half term is Physics – Forces. Our next lesson will be focusing on Air Resistance.

Have a look at the pictures below to see what Willow have been up to this week.

Willow have made a lovely paper chain about being back at school. It is hanging in our classroom.

In DT Willow started looking at different truss structures and how they could strengthen a bridge.

In science today Willow were learning about the difference and link between mass and weight. They then used Newton metres to measure the weight of objects.

Great basketball lesson with a coach today!
