In art this week, we began to add the resist to our fabric. The resist was a flour and water paste that was applied with a dropper bottle. Once this dries, Willow will start to add paint to recreate Starry Night.

In science this week, Willow looked at the electrical conductivity of different materials. They made simple circuits with bulbs and cells before trying different materials in the circuit: plastic, wood, copper, steel paper clip, aluminium foil and graphite. The graphite and aluminium surprised them as they didn’t think they would conduct electricity.
