This week in Willow Class we will be:
English: In English we will be continuing with The Whale, this week’s focus is to describe what they see and hear, think about characters speech and write a first person recount.
Maths: In maths we will be finishing our statistics topic – focusing on reading and interpreting information from timetables.
Science – Our new topic in science is animals including humans. This week we will be focusing puberty – we will be holding our puberty talk on Friday.

In English, we were looking at a transcript of an interview between two of the character from our book. We discussed whether the interviewer believed the children based on how she asked the questions. We also talked about the meaning of scepticism. Look at the videos below – they all performed the interviews and then carried out their own interviews after writing questions to help understand more.
