Big Question: Why is it important to feel like you belong?

Have a look below to see what we‘ve been up to this week:

On Wednesday the school took part in Chinese Enrichment Day. In KS2, they made drums, learnt about the animal story and the year of the snake, looked at Chinese writing and fortune cookies and tried some Chinese food and learnt the meanings behind the foods eaten.

In art today, Willow added the next layer of resist to their batiks. They focused on adding the paste to area they wanted to keep the lightest colours.

In English today, Willow wrote parodies of the Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear. They so enjoyed this and many wanted to share them with you at home so I have taken some photographs of those who wanted to share. Enjoy!
