This week in Willow Class we will be:

English: In English Willow will be continuing to analyse the text before planning and beginning to write their survival guided.

Maths: In maths we are going to spend the week revising and recapping the terms learning. We will be starting with consolidating fractions, decimals and percentages and finding fractions of amounts. We will also relook at using the bus stop method for division and the column method for multiplication. The focus will be word problems.

Science – In Science, the next lesson is babies and children.

Big Question: Why should we look after our planet?

This week Willow finished their fantastic batiks which were inspired by Starry Night. I am so impressed with them all. Well done Willows!

On Wednesday, a small group of Year 5 were chosen at random to take part in a skateboarding lesson; partnered with year 6.
