The games are fantastic and we will enjoy playing them during wet play times. Great team work too!

Some lovely art work on Thursday – Willow were taking their ‘viewfinder’ pencil drawings from two weeks ago and recreating them using chalk pastels in the style of Fauvist artists – lots of contrasting colours and bold lines.

A little harvest celebration from Willow – please excuse the banging half way through, KS1 were having a break!

We have made lots of use of ICT this week and used the iPads in English to research Harriet Tubman – her life will feature in their biographies this week.

Willow class also completed their fantastic stop motion films – these were based on how to stay safe online. The class worked so hard, we had several issues with the software and the iPads freezing but they all persevered to create these, enjoy!

Such an amazing two days of English – The pink lines are sentence stacking, one sentence is taken from each child and at the end we have a class shared write as well as individual ones – very creative ideas so far!

A good Friday afternoon of PE – we were looking at pacing, and how this can be done with pairs running slightly different length circuits.

Some great group in both science and PSHE. Science was looking at the theories of flat Earth and spherical Earth and the supporting evidence to give a definitive answer . In PSHE the class came up with a set of class rules based on what kind of class and environment they want Willow class to be.
